Monitoring and Evaluation
With the aim of establishing baseline data for performance indicators and producing recommendations that enhance development program/project proposals, MJ EASTERN CONSULTING PLC is fully capable of conducting baseline studies for a number of development partners, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations. We have developed considerable competence in evaluating the relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impact of projects or programs. In developing the results framework, identifying and validating indicators, developing the monitoring and evaluation plan, preparing data gathering and reporting tools, defining information products, and other aspects of the monitoring and evaluation system, we use a participatory and consultative approach. Further, accountability, informed decision-making, and the effective use of resources all depend on knowing whether or not an intervention achieves its goals, and why or why not. The core of our work is impact evaluation that quantify the results of development initiatives. To determine which strategies are most effective and why, our specialists mostly design experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations utilizing qualitative and quantitative research methods.
